Warehouse & picking

Warehouses hold your goods, coded locations tell you exactly where, stock movements log every change, and picking turns open orders into parcels.

Warehouses & locations

  1. 1

    Create a warehouse

Warehouse → New warehouse. Only Owner and Admin can create warehouses.

  2. 2

    Add coded locations

Use the bulk location creator with a code system (aisle-shelf-bin). Locations can be renamed; deleting one needs Owner or Admin and requires it to be empty.

  3. 3

    Assign stock

Assign each variant to a location so pick lists print the right bin.

Warehouse

Meaning
A physical storage site with its own locations.

Location code

Meaning
The address inside the warehouse, e.g. A-03-12.

Assignment

Meaning
Which variant sits in which location and in what quantity.

Stock movements

Every increase and decrease is logged under Stock movements with source, member and timestamp: sales orders, refund restocks, manual adjustments and imports. The log is append-only and is the first place to look when a quantity looks wrong.

Barcodes & labels

  • Each variant carries a SKU and optionally an EAN barcode.
  • Generate printable barcode labels from the variant and stick them on bins and products.
  • Enable barcode scanning in organization settings to confirm picks by scan instead of by tap.

Picking queue

  1. 1

    Open the queue

Picking lists every shippable order with its location codes, oldest first.

  2. 2

    Pick and confirm

Collect the items, confirm each line (or scan it), and mark missing items explicitly.

  3. 3

    Complete

Completing hands the parcel to shipping; cancelling or undoing needs Supervisor or above.

Note

Picking access is Owner, Admin, Supervisor, Manager, Viewer and Picker. Cancelling a pick list needs Owner, Admin or Supervisor.
