Insight & assistance

Crow AI

Crow AI is the built-in assistant. It answers questions about your own catalog, orders, refunds and reports in plain language, and explains how CrowPrime features work.

What Crow AI can do

Data questions

Examples
"Which SKUs sold best on Etsy last month?", "How much VAT did we owe in Q2?"

Operational help

Examples
"Which orders are unshipped and older than two days?", "Show low-stock items with sync enabled"

Explanations

Examples
"Why is my Amazon connection degraded?", "How is net revenue calculated?"

Drafting

Examples
"Write a reply to this buyer about a delayed parcel"

Answers cite the records behind them, so a figure links straight to the order, invoice or report that produced it.

Data access control

Crow AI can only read your store data if an Owner or Admin enables the data-access toggle for the organization. Every change is written to an access log with actor and timestamp. Without the toggle, Crow AI answers feature how-tos but not data questions. Page access still follows roles: only Owner, Admin, Supervisor and Manager can open Crow AI.

Saved chat history

  • Every conversation is saved automatically per member and organization, with an auto-generated title from the first question.
  • The sidebar lists recent chats; you can rename, pin, search by content and delete them.
  • Reopening a chat restores full context so follow-up questions continue where you left off.
  • Switching organizations switches the chat list — conversations never cross tenants.
  • Deleting a chat removes it and its stored context permanently.

Prompt patterns

prompts
Compare turnover per channel for the last 30 days vs. the previous 30 days.
List unshipped orders older than 48 hours, grouped by channel.
Which products fell below their low-stock threshold this week?
Summarize refunds in July by reason and total amount.
Explain the difference between my dashboard turnover and the VAT report.

Tip

Name a period, a channel and a metric in the same sentence — specific questions produce answers with fewer follow-ups.

Permissions & privacy

  • Crow AI queries run with the asking member's role, so it cannot reveal data that member could not open in the UI.
  • It is read-only: it never ships an order, edits stock, issues a refund or changes a connection.
  • Conversations stay within your organization and are not shared with other tenants.

Limits & credits

  • Message volume is bounded by your plan's monthly AI credit allowance; the remaining allowance is shown in the chat header.
  • Canned quick queries, listing copy, sourcing ideas, research scoring and the daily briefing share the same allowance.
  • Chats can be exported for audit; very large exports are better produced from Reports — Crow AI summarizes rather than dumps thousands of rows.
  • Answers reflect the most recent sync, so a figure can lag a channel by a few minutes.
  • Suspended account status disables new messages while keeping existing history readable.
